Aphrodite's Tears
Strolling through the castle gardens, Royal Stagg paused at the lovely fountain, the three ravens close behind. They immediately noticed the strawberry bushes growing. As they approached, Royal Stagg shared the ancient tale of how the berries first came to be. when the Goddess’s beloved was slain, her tears mixed with his blood, and from the earth sprang the first strawberry plants. Soon, picking the fruit turned into a playful game of splashing in the water. Royal Stagg watched in disbelief as the ravens carried on, quietly appreciating Aphrodite’s Tears.
